MY HUSBAND IS A NINJA....

Okay, today started out the very best way. This morning I woke up and took a look at my bedroom door. Something was off, my full body Ikea mirror was propped up against it, away from it's normal place next to my bed. I rolled over and asked Jake why it was there and he insisted he had no idea. Finally after figuring it out we came to the conclusion that my sleepwalking husband had propped it up against the door and then pulled the bottom drawer of our dresser out so that if someone came in the mirror would fall on that drawer and break. I was laughing so hard. I had slept through all of this... While laughing at him he rolled over and reached under the pillow where he normally keeps his gun... and sure enough there was our heavy duty mag light. He was going to beat the intruder. Bahaha best way to start a morning.

TRON Legacy

Last night Jake and I went with our friends to see TRON.... at midnight.... past my bedtime. No worries though I took a nap before so that I would be able to stay awake. I don't know how Jake does it without naps.

The movie was good. The scrip could have been a little better, but over all I enjoyed it. It was mostly entertaining. I wonder how I would feel about it if I was actually awake.

Christmas is almost here and it almost past Jake and I by. We still thought we had another week to go. So... Christmas shopping it is and family parties this weekend. I love my family Christmas parties and spending Christmas around the fam, so how blessed am I this year to have two families to share it with.

Anyways, if I don't get around to writing before Christmas have a good one all!

Because good things come in red leather....

Yesterday Jake and I were searching KSL for seating for our family room. We currently had a nice black couch, the one mentioned below, but we did not yet have any other seating for guests. So.... while on KSL we came across a bright red leather couch! It was an amazing price and I just about died. We ran up to Bountiful that night and bough it... and now sitting in our family room we have exactly what I wanted.

Just need to add some accessories to the wall and we'll have a completed family room. Much different from the bachelor pad Jake was living in a month ago. Wahoo.

As far as life goes, things are pretty normal. Finals week is next week so I have been trying to prepare for that. Slowly but surely.

OBSESSIONS!!

I got um and I love them! I am not going to hide that when I see something I like sometimes I want them sooo badly. When browsing the web today I ran across these recycled chairs... needless to say if I am blogging about them, I am probably obsessed... I want. All of them. I love funky furniture.

We are the Oldhams!

Good news! Jake followed through! Ha ha last Tuesday was fantastic to say the least.

At 11 o'clock I was sealed to my sweetheart in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. Jakes Grandpa was able to do the sealing which was such a cool experience and meant a lot to us. It was fantastic to be surrounded by the people that are closest to us. After the wedding we went outside to take photos in below freezing temperatures. It was worth it seeing that my videographer and photographer are the greatest ever. I will post pictures of the day when I get them. Our reception was amazing to say the least and the design I had in my head came alive in the hardware building. The Daniel Day Trio played at my reception and they were absolutely amazing. The flaming crepes were delicious and their was energy in the atmosphere.

Jake and I took our honeymoon to Aspen Colorado. It was rather fantastic and actually warmer than our wedding was. Jake surprised me and took me on a sleigh ride through the mountains. He's such a sweet heart and I am  so happy that he's mine forever.

I have to run because we have friends coming over but I wanted to let you know that he showed up and we are very much married to be with each other forever! We couldn't be happier.
